Applications Salar Brine

More lithium from the reserve you already control.

For operators and permit holders working salar operations worldwide. M.L.E. integrates alongside existing precipitation lines and raises your recovery without touching upstream operations.

The Salar Opportunity

Salar brine: high-grade, proven — but still under-extracted.

The Lithium Triangle alone holds more than half of the world's known lithium reserves, locked in the brines beneath the salt flats. The challenge is not finding the lithium — it is recovering more of it with less waste, less water, and lower cost per tonne.

Conventional evaporation ponds are slow, weather-dependent, and recover only a fraction of the available lithium. M.L.E. replaces the rate-limiting evaporation step with a continuous membrane separation, operating day and night regardless of conditions.

The result is battery-grade purified lithium permeate — delivered faster, at lower OpEx, from the same brine resource you already hold.

Measurable Outcomes

Four measurable outcomes at the asset level.

~39% OpEx reduction per cubic meter of feed

Membrane separation eliminates the energy and time cost of multi-stage evaporation. No solar dependency, no seasonal downtime.

Over 19% capacity uplift on the same brine volume

Higher recovery rate from each cubic meter of brine processed means more Li tonnes from the same reserve base without additional exploration.

De-lithiated effluent suitable for aquifer re-injection

Clean effluent supports sustainable brine management and is compatible with regulatory re-injection requirements in major salar jurisdictions.

No disruption to existing precipitation lines

Modular skid deployment integrates in parallel with existing process infrastructure. No capital write-off on current equipment.

Relevant Operators

Large-scale salar operators and earlier-stage developers worldwide. Includes permit holders at the exploration and pre-feasibility stage.

Deployment Model

Separation as a service, priced per cubic meter of feed processed. Modular skids installed on site. Operator retains full ownership of recovered lithium.

D.C.M. Integration Available

Operators who process lithium through M.L.E. can optionally integrate D.C.M. to convert purified lithium directly into battery-ready cathode material on-site, capturing additional margin across the supply chain.
